Production in Austria and Germany

For the international armwrestling event East vs West, at Multiversum Schwechat we delivered the complete technical and production execution of the event. The goal was to create a strong visual and spectator experience—both in the venue and for the online audience.

We delivered end-to-end production from the initial preparations through to the final event:

  • design and execution of the stage design, including lighting and sound for the entire venue,
  • full broadcast, including direction and camera switching and a replay system for the referees,
  • installation of 4 LED screens, including a central screen measuring 8 × 4 meters, plus the visual solution for the athletes’ walk-ins,
  • deployment of a multi-camera setup: 6 cameras, 2 camera cranes, 2 steadicam systems, and 4 replay cameras for the referees.

East vs West 23 Germany

Following Austria, another major production. Our 29-member production team flew to Germany, where a truck full of equipment was already waiting for us for this event.

We covered 2 locations:
1. Cologne Fair, where the press conference took place
2. Wuppertal, the venue for the main East vs West 23 event

We provided:

  • construction and content for the LED screen with a fighter entrance,
  • lighting and sound for the entire space, enhancing the atmosphere of the matches,
  • multi-camera broadcast and recording,
  • streaming,
  • stream replays,
  • replays for the referees.

The teardown had to be completed overnight within 3 hours. We did it in 2.5.
